The proposed data centre forms part of a renewal for the site and is set to be a transformative project positioning the region as a leading hub for innovation and data management. Location

Planning Pathway

The development is eligible for approval through the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP)  Development Facilitation Program (DFP).

 

This is an accelerated assessment pathway for eligible projects that make a significant contribution towards the Victorian economy, and provide substantial public benefit including keeping people in jobs.  

All applications lodged to the DTP will be determined by the Minister for Planning or the Department of Transport and Planning under delegation.
